Record the chapter, unit, date and environment. Use anonymous counts; do not collect credentials or student private data.

Separate independent work from supported repair and revealed solutions. Record where the timebox broke down and what prerequisite caused it. Leave unobserved values blank. A green notebook execution check cannot measure learning.
